Biography
Naeemullah Khan is an Instructional Assistant Professor in Artificial Intelligence at Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL). Professor Khan completed his PhD at KAUST’s Visual Computing Center before joining Torr Vision Group, at the University of Oxford as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist. Khan’s research focus on robustness and continual learning in deep learning applications. Apart from his research Naeemullah has extensive experience of preparing, organizing, and delivering artificial intelligence trainings. Naeemullah has delivered courses at the department of engineering at University of Oxford, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), and Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford. The course work modules he delivered at University of Oxford are ranked one of the best by the students. His workshops at Winter Enrichment Program (WEP) at KAUST have consistently been ranked among the best events at WEP. Based on his contribution to the research and teaching activities at the Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford, Prof Khan was awarded a Junior Research Fellowship at the college. At CTL, Prof Khan is developing cutting edge training programs in Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning for audiences both inside and outside the University.
