The teaching and learning team, Office of the Provost, is an enabler for innovations for learning. Learning innovations supports the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Vision 2030 with world class excellence in blended learning for higher education. The Office of the Provost facilitates embedding the ethos of lifelong learning into the design and development process of blended learning.

This directly supports the development of a knowledge and skills based society for Vision 2030, and beyond, for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Vision 2030 prioritizes human capacity development, and strategic partnerships, and this highlights the need for dynamic learning experiences, both in-person and online, to enrich the tapestry of higher education. This learning culture shift is naturally aligned with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia vision to be a nation of knowledge workers.

A learning centered approach is at the heart of KAUST and provides a way to continually renew the educational dynamics of the university, which is integral to creating a knowledge economy.

Citizens need sustained opportunities to develop capabilities, competencies, and innovations, which meet the challenges of an emerging knowledge based society. The Office of the Provost will provide vision, and programs, to ensure digital innovations for learning.
