David R Pugh is an Instructional Assistant Professor in AI with the KAUST Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and the Acting Director of the SDAIA-KAUST Center of Excellence in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. David has nearly a decade of experience delivering machine learning training and possesses a deep knowledge of the core Python machine learning stack: NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, NetworkX, Jupyter, Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow. David is also a certified Software and Data Carpentry Instructor and Instructor Trainer and has delivered Software and Data Carpentry workshops in Europe, MENA, and Japan.
